  1. I don’t personally remember much of his political positions but I remember him running for President a couple of times growing up. He was all out he news back then.

  2. Had Perot not quit proclaiming The Democrats had their act together he might have won. Upon reentry his choice of Admiral Crow as VP was embarrassing . Still got 19 %.

  3. Oh please, can we NOT lionize and mythologize this guy? He was NOT a man of all goodness and light. Quite the opposite. His primary concern was preserving his own business interests. He was right about NAFTA, but a deeper dig shows his motives were not altruistic.

  4. I voted for Perot back in '92, but unfortunately, support for Perot only took votes away from Bush, Sr., giving the election to Clinton. Perot might have been the first Trump if he had not run as an independent.
